1. THE PLANNING CONSULTATION
During our planning consultation, I’ll help you make all the important decisions—like choosing your location, outfits, and most importantly, how you want to display your photos.
I’ll guide you through everything so that your family’s story is perfectly captured

We’ll plan it all out together so that by the time of your photoshoot, you’re excited and ready!
2. THE PHOTOSHOOT
This is where the magic happens!
I handle all the hard work while you and your family have fun connecting and making memories.
You’ll love how comfortable and guided you feel throughout the shoot, allowing your personalities to shine in front of the camera.
And yes, we’ll get those classic “everyone looking at the camera” shots too—but the real magic lies in the candid moments.
I’ll guide you through every step, making sure the experience is stress-free and joyful.
3. THE BIG REVEAL
After your portrait session, we’ll meet again (in person or online) for your photo reveal.
This is the exciting part!
You get to see your photos for the first time, and together with my expert guidance we will design your print collection.
Whether you want beautiful wall art, a StoryBox, or an album, I’ll handle all the printing so you can sit back and enjoy the final result.

WHAT DOES IT COST?
Session Fee: $350-$500
The session fee covers the entire photoshoot experience, including our pre-session consultation, the fun and guided photoshoot, and professional editing of your images. Please note that the session fee is for my time and expertise only—it does not include any printed products or digital files.
Session fees depend on when you book—weekdays are $350, and weekends are $500. I recommend booking at least three weeks in advance to secure your spot and allow ample time for planning your photoshoot experience.
After your photoshoot, you’ll have the opportunity to view and purchase your favourite images as prints, albums, or wall art.
You’re in complete control of what you choose to invest, and there’s no minimum order requirement.
Most clients invest between $1750 and $3000 on their image collections, but you only buy what you love.
Printed products and matching digital files are sold separately.

NEED TO KNOW MORE?
Working with families is one of my absolute favourite things. I love capturing the unique connections, personalities, and all the emotion that comes with special family time together.
My goal is to photograph your family as I would my own—with a fun, relaxed, ‘lifestyle’ approach. That means I’ll capture plenty of candid moments that show your family as they truly are, while also guiding you through the session to make sure everyone looks great and feels comfortable. And yes, we’ll get those classic group shots too, so you’ll have a variety of beautiful images to choose from.
We’ll run around, laugh, and have fun together—whether that’s on location or at your home—while I document all the key moments, along with the magical ones in between. Sessions usually take about an hour, but as a mum myself, I know kids have their own schedules, so we’ll stay flexible and go with the flow.
If your family no longer has young children, we can take a more structured approach with a bit more posing. But capturing those candid, authentic moments together will always be a priority. I regularly work with families who have different needs and abilities, and planning ahead is key to making sure everyone enjoys the session and that we get photos that truly represent who you are.
My family portrait sessions are about photographing you as you are—whether that’s at home, on your lifestyle block, farm, or another special place where you can relax, have fun, and maybe even go on a little adventure. Kids tend to feel more at ease in familiar spaces, and that’s when we get the best photos—no forced “photo-faces,” just real, beautiful moments.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
I recommend booking at least a month ahead. I take a limited number of clients each month to ensure I can give you the best service. A month gives us plenty of time to plan your session and prepare everything we need.
WILL YOU PHOTOGRAPH AN ADULT FAMILY WITH NO CHILDREN?
Absolutely! These sessions are just as special and can be a bit more guided and creative.
DO YOU OFFER MINI SESSIONS?
I focus on providing a beautifully crafted, luxe experience that tells the complete story of your family. This requires spending quality time before, during and after the photoshoot, so I don’t offer mini sessions. My goal is to give you an unforgettable experience that results in stunning, personalised images. That doesn’t mean we can’t work efficiently though!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
I’ll help guide you with outfit choices at your planning consultation, right down to helping you choose from your wardrobe if you like! It all depends on what we plan for your session.
WILL YOU PHOTOGRAPH OUR FAMILY EVENT?
It depends! Do you want event coverage, or do you want to use the opportunity to get family portraits while everyone is together? I can accommodate both, but remember I specialise in printed photos, so the goal would be to curate an album or collection from the event images.
WHAT IF MY FAMILY DOESNT COOPERATE?
Don’t worry—I’ve seen it all! I have plenty of tricks to make the session fun, and we’ll capture your family as they truly are 🙂
I JUST WANT DIGITAL IMAGES - WILL YOU PROVIDE THOSE?
You can purchase a digital collection if you prefer, but the cost is the same. I believe in the importance of printed photographs, which is why they are the focus of my image collections. A matching digital file is included with every printed photograph.
CAN WE COME TO YOUR STUDIO?
I don’t have a studio for family portraits—Mother Nature is my studio! However, I do offer limited edition creative studio sessions throughout the year, which are released to my VIP list first.
WHAT ARE YOUR PACKAGES?
The best part is that you can build your own package! You can mix and match prints, frames, albums, and more to create exactly what you want for your home. I offer different image collections to get you started, such as a 10-image collage frame, a 20-image album, or a StoryBox, but the final choice is entirely up to you and how you want to display your memories.
